How I Built Two Etsy Shops and Over 5,000 Sales (Without Having It All Figured Out)
Twelve years ago, I saw other people selling products online and thought: "I could do that too."
So I opened an Etsy shop.
No business plan.
No marketing degree.
No roadmap.
Just curiosity, creativity, and a desire to build something of my own.
Looking back now, it's kind of wild to see where that one decision led.
Over the years, I've built multiple Etsy brands, created hundreds of products, and grown my shops to:

But the biggest lesson wasn't about sales.
It was about starting.
You Don't Need Everything Figured Out
For a long time, I thought successful business owners had a master plan from day one.
The truth? Most of us figure it out as we go.
My first Etsy shop looked completely different than it does today.
Products evolved.
Brands evolved.
I evolved.
What started as a creative experiment eventually became one of the most valuable business educations I could have asked for.
Etsy taught me entrepreneurship. It taught me how to test ideas, market products, understand customers, and build something from the ground up.
Every Chapter Has Contributed
One thing I've realized over the years is that none of our experiences are wasted.
My background in event planning taught me strategy.
My design experience taught me branding.
Figure skating taught me resilience and consistency.
Wellness taught me balance and sustainability.
And Etsy taught me what it actually looks like to build something one step at a time.
At the time, those chapters felt completely unrelated. Now they feel like pieces of the same story.
